Fashion habits worth avoiding

Sometimes it only takes a quick glance at an outfit to notice when something feels “off.” Style isn’t about perfection—but a few common mistakes can easily ruin an otherwise good look.
Here are a few fashion habits worth avoiding:

• Too many clashing colors. Try not to use more than four colors in one outfit (neutrals like black, white, or gray don’t count). Harmonious color combinations instantly make a look more polished.

• One pair of shoes for everything. Comfortable favorites are great, but different occasions call for different shoes—boots, sandals, casual sneakers, or elegant flats.

• Worn-out underwear. Visible straps or stretched fabrics can spoil even the most beautiful outfit. Good foundations matter.

• Clothes that don’t fit. Fashion trends come and go, but well-fitting clothes will always look better than something too tight or too baggy.

• Too many accessories. Accessories should highlight your look, not overwhelm it. Choose a few key pieces instead of wearing everything at once.

• Too much skin. A classic rule of elegance: show either the legs or the neckline—balance keeps a look refined.

Fashion trends change, but style is personal. Wear what flatters you, experiment with confidence, and remember—the most attractive thing you can wear is how you feel. If you’d like to learn more tips on enhancing your personal style, follow my page on the Face Book
